If you still have the app

Open Imbue and go to Settings, then Your data & privacy, then Erase or delete my data, then Delete my account. Imbue asks you to wait 30 seconds before you can confirm, so it is never done by accident.

When you confirm, everything Imbue keeps on your phone is erased, your posts on the Wall of Support are removed, your first name comes off any shared Picture Puzzle you helped with, and your round leaves the Mini Golf leaderboard. We email you the date your account will be deleted.

Seven days later, your account is deleted from our server, and we email you to confirm it. Signing in to Imbue again before that date cancels the deletion and keeps everything.

If you have already uninstalled the app

Email hello@withimbue.com from the address you used, and ask us to delete your account. We will delete it and everything held with it, and reply to confirm. Please allow a few days.

We ask you to write from the address itself because it is the only thing that tells us which account is yours. We hold no name, no password and no other way to identify you.

What is deleted

• Your email address and your sign-in.
• Your custom audio recordings, and the scripts they were made from.
• Your audio minutes and their history. Minutes you have not used are lost, including any still to come from a lifetime purchase.
• Your posts and replies on the Wall of Support (removed straight away). Everything on the wall is also deleted automatically after six months.
• The list of phones signed in to your account.

What is not

Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription. Subscriptions are held by Google Play, not by us, so if you want to stop paying, cancel it in the Play Store under Subscriptions.

We keep only a note that a deleted account existed and which store purchases it used, under a random number that does not identify you, so that the same purchase cannot be credited twice.

What we hold in the first place

Very little. You can look around Imbue without an account. We ask you to sign in with Google before you subscribe or buy anything, and before your first post to the wall. Your email is used for the reminder emails before your subscription renews (which you can switch off), one email confirming those reminders, and, if you delete your account, the two emails about the deletion. No spam and no marketing, ever. The privacy policy explains all of it in full.
